Hardest Part

This is the boring part-- the "stupid, endless middle," the part where you see nothing new, experience nothing new, you're just hanging on and hanging on and hanging on and it just hurts. This is where you repeat things to yourself like "trust the process," or some other such meditative nonsense to wrap your brain around the fact that it's been heart-breakingly hard already and it's only getting harder with no let up in sight.
